What is Doing Hong Kong?

Living in Hong Kong can be challenging at the best of times. Doing Hong Kong has been set up to help meet the diverse needs of expatriates and executives, who are looking to expand their downtime, or simply have a more balanced lifestyle. We offer Activities and Events.

Are all Activities hosted by Doing Hong Kong?

All Activities are provided and hosted by Third-party Vendors, however preferential rates have been secured by Doing Hong Kong for our Members. Participation in Activities may be with personal groups of people, or by matching up with other Members with similar interests, through our Buddy Listing service.

How does the Buddy Listing service work?

Members can choose to invite other Members with similar interests, to participate in their proposed / planned Activities. Itinerary details may be posted on the Buddy Listing service.

4.

Members' reviews of Activities: how does this feature work?

Members, who choose to share their experiences of Activities and or Third-party Vendors are able to post their comments accordingly, while Members who are deliberating on their choices of Activities and or Third-party Vendors are able to view these postings to assist them in their decisions.

Are all Events hosted by Doing Hong Kong?

Most Events are organised and hosted by Doing Hong Kong while others are provided by Third-party Vendors.

Are payments for all Activities and Events made to Doing Hong Kong?

Payments for all Activities are made directly to the Third-party Vendors offering the specific Activity. Members are required to identify their Doing Hong Kong membership numbers for the preferential rates to apply. Payments are made through the Third-party Vendors' online payment gateway, if available or alternative payment methods as indicated on the relevant Third-party Vendors' web-sites, site materials or information kits. Payments for Events are made to Doing Hong Kong through our secure online payment gateway. Payments for some Events may include service and handling fees and these will be indicated accordingly where they apply.

What payment methods are available from Doing Hong Kong?

Doing Hong Kong accepts Mastercard and Visa credit cards through our secure online payment gateway. Payments may also be made either through bank transfers to HSBC account number 809-138175-838 or cheques, made payable to Doing Hong Kong Limited and mailed to Unit A, 20/F, Nine Queen’s Road Central, Central, Hong Kong.
